Arthur T. Swaine

1936 - 2022

Swaine, Arthur Thomas ("Artie") 86, of Pompano Beach, FL, formerly of Lynbrook, NY, passed away peacefully on December 20, 2022. Born August 26, 1936, to Frank and Mae Swaine. Loving and dedicated husband of the late Bernadette for 61 years. Selfless father of Daniel and son-in-law Tony Minella, Jeanne Sullivan, Art Jr. and daughter-in-law Lorraine Lynch, and MaryEllen. Devoted grandfather of Kaitlin, Sean, Kelly, John, and Keira. Dear brother of the late Frank and late Mary Anne Swaine, Peggy and Richie Walsh and the late Pat Szabo. Memorable brother-in-law to Cecelia Dolan and the late Peter, the late Patty and late Bill Caruthers, the late Margaret Krause, and Joanie and Tom Martino. Favorite and funny uncle and friend of many.

Artie was loved and cherished by all who had the privilege to know him, especially his friends at The Renaissance III Condominium, the numerous colleagues and friends he made during his 50 plus year career in the elevator industry working for Westinghouse Elevator, Schindler Elevator and Landmark Elevator Consultants.

A funeral mass will be held at Assumption Catholic Church, 2001 South Ocean Blvd., Lauderdale-by-the Sea, FL 33062 on January 18, 2023, at 11:00am. The 11:00am mass can also be viewed live at http://www.facebook.com/assumptioncatholicchurchbroward.

A Celebration of Life will be held in New York on March 11, 2023 for family and friends.
