I had to honor of meeting Barbara as part of the visitation ministry at MCC. We clicked from the first moment for our mutual love for poetry and working in the transportation/business industry.

She taught us all that strength is inside of us to be used. She did use it as long as our Lord wanted her to do it. I will miss you Barbara, always.

Now... you are climbing trees...

Thanks for the time shared.

Barbara and I shared a secret which we communicated back and forth with winks and smiles. Now I will share it with you: We knew that life was worth living, every single day of it. We also knew that can suddenly end, so it's best not to miss a day of it. Barbara lived her life that way, and she has taught me to live that way, too. Till then, Barbara...

Barbara,

My dear sister, what a shame we wasted so many years not staying close enough. I am happy you are at peace now and the suffering is over. I am so happy your life was so blessed with so many good friends and people. I wish we had more time together, but we will see each other again.

With all my heart and love,

your sister,

Geri-Lynn
