Barbara Vitale-Bihus Age 76, passed away suddenly from complications due to Chronic Obstructive Pulmonary Disease. She was born in Newark, NJ on February 20,1947 to Anthony and Bessie Vitale. She grew up in Irvington, New Jersey and later moved to Fort Lauderdale where she spent the rest of her days.

Barbara was preceded in death by her brother Joseph Vitale and her loving companion Ray Briant II. She is survived by her daughter Daria and son in law Peter and their two sons Mark and Joey. Her stepson Ray and his wife Dana, and their children Raymond IV, Kelly, Daniel and Michael. Also survived by her "Sistah" in-law Maureen Vitale, three nephews Joseph (Dawn), Dean (Patty) and Mark (Regina), great-nephews Dean Jr., Joey, Anthony, great-nieces Kate, Demi, and Gianna, great-great niece Aliah and great-great nephew Christian.

Barbara loved her life and lived it to the fullest. She was the most kind, caring and compassionate person, who touched every single person she came into contact with. She was so proud of her family, she was a lover of dogs, the New York Yankees, all people who served our community, and had a deep love for her country. She will be missed dearly.

Service will be held at 1:00 PM on Tuesday March 28, 2023, at St John the Baptist Catholic Church 4595 Bayview Dr, Fort Lauderdale, FL 33308 and Burial to follow at Forest Lawn North 200 W Copans Rd, Pompano Beach FL 33064

In lieu of flowers, please consider making a donation to any of the following charities which were near and dear to her heart. The Hundred Club of Broward County or Canine Assisted Therapy, Inc.
