I am blessed to have met such a soft tender heart. You were always special to me Chemene and even today as I read this awful news online I am overtaken by a sense of gratitude mixed with the sadness. I can not help but to release tears for I trully wish we would have had the time to say all that was left unsaid. I will love you always my friend and you won't be forgoten.

Since I can't tell you in person, I figured this will be the only way to say a few words to someone that meant so much to me. It still hurts to this day, especially on your day of birth. I miss you and I will always think of you. You meant everything to me and I will always be grateful for the time we spent together. May you rest in peace sweet angel until we meet again.

Chemene was the sweetest girl I ever met. I knew her in high school and we would hug everyday....
We had fun at Grad Nite '96 together. We were both graduated already but were happy to be together again. I'll never forget her.

I had the pleasure of meeting Chemene she was a very happy person who seem to enjoy life. She was a wonderful loving girl who will be missed by allot of her friends. Very few people possess what it takes to be truly likable. Chemene was one of those people. She had the ability to capture hearts from the very first interaction. Greeting you with her warm smile and a hug is all it took for anyone to come to the realization that there was something amazing about her. Perhaps what was most special about her was her ability to make those around her feel special. Anyone that has ever looked to her for guidance has witnessed firsthand what it is like to experience time freezing; everything else around her became secondary. Her attention and focus made it clear that she cared about whatever they had to say. She was so good at spreading her buoyancy to those around her that everyone in the room would inevitably begin fighting for her attention. Her encouragement through a smile or a simple nod of approval could instill confidence in even the meekest of people. Whenever there was a heated debate and self-assurance was lacking, it wasn’t long before both sides would be saying, “…isn’t that right Chemene?” There is no one that she has came in contact with that she hasn’t left an impression on. She was sweet, caring, and lovely; that’s why she was truly likable. Everyone that knew her has suffered a great loss. She will be missed.
