ALSON-GANNETT Alson-Gannett, Claudine, 42, of Delray Beach, FL passed away July 24, 2002. Graduated from Westminster Academy, attended Florida Southern University and was a volunteer at Valley Cruscis School in North Carolina. She is survived by her children Bryce and Alexis of Boone, NC; parents Colette and Peter Alson of Boca Raton, FL; brothers Matthew Alson of Lake Worth, FL, William Alson of Jacksonville, FL and niece Monique Gannett of Ft. Lauderdale, FL. Family will receive friends Sunday, July 28 6:00 PM to 9:00 PM and Monday, July 29 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM and 6:00 PM to 9:00 PM. Mass of Christian Burial Tuesday, July 30th 10:00 AM at St. Anthony Catholic Church, Ft. Lauderdale, FL A reception will be held following the services at The Coral Ridge Country Club on Bayview Dr. in Ft. Lauderdale. Interment will be in Boone, NC. I met Claudine in the 6th grade at Pine Crest Elementary. She was unlike any other 6th grader. We became friends. We went to the same college. We were roommates until she got married. She shared her family life with me - I shared my traveling experiences with her.



She was a light.



She is missed.
