Colleen McSoley Obituary

Colleen Mary (Kelly) McSoley passed away at home November 22nd after a long illness. She is the beloved wife of John and mother of Brendan, Erin, Kathryn, Timothy and Matthew. She is the daughter of the late Dr. Earl and Patricia (Mullen) Kelly. She is survived by her sisters Erin (Ed) Walter and Gail (Matt) Harrison; aunts Helen and Margaret Kelly, Priscilla Dugas and uncle Kevin Mullen; numerous cousins; and in-laws; thirty-three nieces and nephews as well as many friends. Originally from Rhode Island, she is a graduate of Bishop Feehan High School and St. Anselm College. She was a registered nurse who spent most of her professional career as an ICU nurse. She made her home in Hollywood where her loving and caring nature translated well to raising her five children. She also worked in the school clinic of Nativity School and was a member of the parish of Nativity Catholic Church. Visitation Sunday, 5:00-9:00 PM with a Prayer Service Sunday evening at Landmark Funeral Home. Funeral Mass Monday, November 27, 2017, 10:00 AM at Nativity Catholic Church followed by interment at Queen of Heaven Cemetery. The family requests in lieu of flowers a personal act of kindness for someone, or if you are so inclined, donations could be made in Colleen's honor to Nativity School, Hollywood Respect Life, University of Miami Crohn's and Colitis Center or Sylvester Comprehensive Cancer Center or the CDKL5 Foundation. Sorry for your loss. Colleen was one of the nicest persons God put on Earth. She was from a great family and married into an equally good family. Although we lost touch after St. Leo's, I'm deeply saddened by her passing.
