David was not only a valued employee but also a good friend who would give you the shirt off his back. Wish we could have kept in touch over the last few years. Thank-you to David`s mother for letting us know. Rest in peace David Hooks.

My husband & I are deeply sorry to hear about David's passing. The past year or so was so difficult for him health wise, but he was a strong trooper.
When David would visit his mom, Betty he would wander over to our yard, beer in hand to check to see what my husband was fixing or remodeling. You knew you could always depend on David for a laugh.

We enjoyed Dave as an employee and friend for many years. We used to joke about writing a book about all the things Dave found so funny in every day life. We prayed for him for so many years. Thank you Mike for sharing with us all. God is so good. He desires that none should perish.

David was a good man. A good father and a good provider. He was so funny at times. He was also a very intelligent man. I remember when we had a 1976 station wagon and the driver's window wouldn't go up. He fixed it with a toothpick. He was loved by many.

I've been a neighbor and friend of David's for nearly 20 years. On Monday August 21st when he was admitted to the ER, I met him there later that day. In the ER room, David invited Jesus Christ to wash away his sin and write his name in the book of life. David was a fighter and warrior till the end and I look forward to being neighbors in heaven with him.

There was never a dull moment with Uncle David around. I will always remember his incredible stories.
