Frank Esposito Obituary

Esposito, Frank Robert resident of South Florida since 1957, originally of Long Beach, Long Island, passed away February 11, 2013. Born in New York, NY on November 20, 1921, Frank was a Chief Pharmacist mate in the U.S. Navy and a veteran of World War II, serving on a destroyer in both the Atlantic and Pacific theatres of war. Frank owned and operated Ideal Meat Market of Long Beach, Long Island. After moving to Florida, Frank with his brothers-in-law, Anthony Cusolito and John Chiste opened two additional stores in Hollywood and Miramar in the early 1960s. Frank is preceded in death by his parents Louis and Fannie Esposito; and son-in-law Robert M. Jackson. Frank is survived by his wife of 67 years Ruby Esposito; his two children Ruth Ann Jackson (Robert) and Louis Esposito (Marcia); grandchildren, Donna Dee-Rizzo (David), Frank Esposito (Gina), Robert Esposito (Crystal) and Melissa Esposito; many great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren; sisters Catherine Cusolito and Gloria Chiste; many nieces and nephews. Gathering of Family and Friends Tuesday, February 19 from 6 p.m.-7 p.m. followed by a Celebration of Life Service at 7 p.m. at Landmark Funeral Home. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to the Alexander Nininger State Veterans Nursing Home, 8401 West Cypress Drive, Pembroke Pines, FL 33025, In Memory of Frank Esposito. Arrangements by Landmark Funeral Home, 4200 Hollywood Blvd., Hollywood, FL 33021, 954-989-8220.
