Fredric Henry "Freddy" Warren

Fredric Warren Obituary

Warren, Fredric "Freddy" Henry, passed away June 1, 2008, in the presence of his family. A long time resident of Bay Harbor Islands and Aventura, FL, Fred was born October 20, 1932, in Brooklyn, NY. Fred was a graduate of NYU and a veteran of the U.S. Army. After getting married Fred moved to Miami Beach where he worked as a real estate broker. His social nature, quick wit and charming personality led Fred to work with the major South Florida developers of the 60's, 70's and 80's. As a result of his persistence and business acumen Fred became extremely successful which he shared with the community through his philanthropic involvement in organizations such as Mount Sinai Hospital, the Cancer League and others. Fred is survived by his former wife, Renee' Elias Warren; his daughters, Michelle (George Minski), Alyssa (John Bloch, D.D.S.) and Jennifer; and grandchildren: Samantha, Danielle, and Nicole Minski, Taylor and Dylan Benjamin Bloch, Spirit and Sundance Warren, and longtime companion Judith Certilman. Fred was a renaissance man, who never lost his zest for life. A hands on father, a world traveler, an avid golfer, boater, and lover of good fiction reading. He will be deeply missed. Would that everyone could go through life with a sense of humor like Freddy's and with such a quick wit. He always kept us laughing.
We spent many happy times with him and Judy both in Florida and Pine Bush. They shared a wonderful life together and being in their company was always fun for others around them.
His love for his daughters made us feel as though we knew them, their husbands and their children. His devotion to Judy was unflappable. We will miss our good friend, Freddy.

I WAS SO SORRY TO READ OF FRED'S DEATH. I HAD BEEN LOOKING IN THE PAPER TO SEE IF HE WAS STILL TRAINING THE HORSES. THAT IS ALL THAT I KNEW ABOUT HIM. I WORKED WITH KEN PARKER FOR 25 YEARS AND GOT TO KNOW FRED IN THE LATER YEARS AND ALWAYS THOUGHT ALOT OF HIM. JUDY, I KNOW YOU WILL MISS HIM AND OUR THOUGHTS AND PRAYERS ARE WITH YOU AND HIS FAMILY.
