It was refreshing to be reminded of Gary today as we approach the fifth year anniversary of his passing. Gary was the embodiment of passion for life. It was impossible to not be inspired when in his presence.

So sorry i missed this email..the Rotella alwzys was and will be a special family to me..i can picture Claire talking about gary like it was yesterday..She loved to say how he was the life of the party and always would be the one in charge of the entertainment and gettong yhings done..when gary was around..there was always a party..im so sorry for all of you wonderful rotellas..you are a beautiful loving family

Gary was an Inspiration to my career and set me on a path to become what I am Toady, we shared many a Good Memories, and had lots of fun power boating and and going to sporting events, This man lived life to the fullest and his dedication to Family and Friends and The Boys and Girls Club. You have thought we worked for them, everything revolved around others. I never did so much in one day with this Great man.

You were a True Hero who changed so many lives it saddens me and my heart is heavy with grief of losing you. I'm disappointed in God that he took you home too early from the life you loved so much.

I was so sorry to read of the sudden death of Gary. I remember him well from our high school years at MSJ where we acted together in several plays. Although I did not keep up with him after our teen years, I always remembered his gregarious smile and his friendly swagger. Not to mention that he came from one of Rutland's finest families. May he rest in peace.

My wife, Marjory E. Pierce, and I offer our deepest condolences to the Rotella family. I recall Gary from discussions at the MSJ Academy in the late sixties concerning Shakespeare, love, family and plans for the future. It is so nice to see that so many of his hopes, dreams and plans came to life. He struck me as a serious, intelligent man who had a surprising sense of humor. We wish his family and friends well and send our thoughts, prayers and hopes for better things to come to all.

I was Devastated to hear My Good Friend and Confidant Gary has passed on, Gary was a Great Inspiration to me, and assisted me in my Carreer in The Merchant Marines, his family welocmed me into their life and I am greatly appricaited for that, and have sorrow for them, My heart is empty knowing he is not with us, BUT NEVER FORGOTTEN,
