George was one of the most kindhearted and gracious men I have ever known. His face lit up with his incredible and unforgettable smile. With his ever present camera he was known for his love of sports and never any doubt about his love for USA Swimmers. Thanks to Sherry.. I was included in their annual Christmas Eve Dinners after which the 3 of us would attend Candlelight service at
First Presbyterian Church. In my 30 years of knowing George there are no words to express my sincere respect and loving memories. RIP George..you will long be remembered by those of us who knew and Loved you.

Sherry, we are very sorry for you loss. We were very blessed to know George from his involvement with the International Swimming Hall of Fame and Aquatics complex back in the early to mid '90's. He always had that great smile and treated the athletes and coaches with tremendous respect in every photo opportunity. We really enjoyed having George as our wedding photographer and got to meet Sherry as a result. Rest in peace and thank you for your sincere kindness. David and Sally Zubero

George was the loveliest man and always such a gentleman. He was always smiling and taking wonderful photos. George loved traveling with Sherry and I always enjoyed receiving their Christmas letters. What a book they would make! Sherry and George were a love story and good examples of how to live full, interesting lives while giving back to the children and families of our community. God bless him and Sherry.

George was my dear dear friend and my photographer for decades. He was the photographer for my newspaper El Heraldo de Broward, for all my galas and my family photos, including my wedding. He now joins his good friend and physician, Dr. Vasquez in heaven. Rest in peace my friend.

George was a very sweet man, loved animals, hunting, his family, traveling to different places with me. I remember one day in the nursing home when he took my hand and kissed my fingers , looking up at me and saying "I love you". So sweet he had tears in his eyes. I will never forget that moment in our lives. I hope he is safe and not in pain any more. He just went to sleep and joined his Mom and Dad in a land I hope of no pain. i love you George.
