Mary Mihalik Obituary
Born in Shamokin, she was the loving wife of the late Michael B. Mihalik and daughter of the late Joseph and Rose Bascavage Visneski.
Mary was the co-owner of the Mike Mihalik Fuel Co., which operated in the Marietta, Bainbridge and Maytown areas from 1950 until her retirement in 1979.
She was a devout Catholic and was a member of Council of Catholic Women and American Legion Auxiliary Post 466, Marietta.
Surviving are two daughters, Patricia Mihalik, Greenwood, Ind., and Sandra A. Mihalik, Helena, Mont.; five grandchildren, and 10 great-grandchildren.
In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by two sisters, Veronica Staveckas and Nellie Krankoski.

MIHALIK — Mary J. Mihalik, 96, of Greenwood, Ind. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend a Mass of Christian Burial at 11 a.m. Tuesday at Queen of the Most Holy Rosary Catholic Church, 599 W. Center St., Elysburg. Final commendation and farewell will be in All Saints Cemetery, Bear Gap. There will a public viewing from 9:45 to 10:45 a.m. Tuesday at the church. If desired, memorial contributions may be made in Mary's memory to St. Jude Children's Hospital, 800-805-5856, www.stjude.org. Smedley Funeral Home Ltd., Marietta, has charge of the arrangements.
