Jerome Leonard Friedman

Friedman, Jerome Leonard, 78, passed away on September 4, 2008. He is survived by his wife, the "love of his life", Dolores of 55 years; loving children, Anita (Michael) Fischler, Debbie (Frank) Gober, Howard Friedman, Laura; cherished grandchildren: Serena, Kenneth, Joslyn, Danielle, Chelsea; devoted sister, Celia Bakst and sister-in-law, Ceal Bogrow; cousin, David Mandel; many nieces and nephews; and "all the boys". As a pillar in the Jewish community he had volunteered in many Jewish causes, such as, David Posnack Hebrew Day School, JAFCO, JCC, Senior Centers and Temple Beth Torah. He was highly involved in all his "adored" grandchildren's events. Jerry will be greatly missed by all whose lives he touched, family and friends. Chapel services will be held on Sunday, September 7, 2008 at 3:30 PM at the Star of David Memorial Chapel with interment to follow on the grounds of Star of David Memorial Gardens, 7701 Bailey Rd., N. Lauderdale, FL, (954) 722-9000. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the David Posnack Hebrew Day School Scholarship Fund in Jerome's memory or the charity of your choice.
