Irene, Grace, Julie and Joe, I am so very sorry for your loss. It's so hard to come up with words to describe the impact Joe has had on my life, or the sense of loss all who met him are feeling now that he is gone. Joe was a generous, kind man. I'll never forget all that he has done for me. His smile, laugh and they way he always found something to be thankful for every time I saw him will be memories of him I will never forget. I hope you can take comfort in the memories, and always feel in your hearts the love he had for each of you.

Irene,
Having just moved from Deerfield Beach to Perrysburg, OH, I still read the Sun-Sentinel daily and was saddened to see Joe's passing the other day. I know your loving family will help you through this difficult time. I still remember you both fondly from the days at VCH. It's a shame we all had to part company, but please remember even an old friend like me is sending comforting wishes to you in time of mourning. Allan Sacks

Joe was a gentle, caring, beautiful person who will be truly missed by family, friends and anyone who had the privilege of knowing him. He was courageous as anyone I know, our family has had many recent losses and can only know in our hearts that his is with our Lord and with all our other loved ones and now joins our guardian angels in heaven.
