I am saddened to learn of your tragic loss. As you know, Akiba created a strong bond between campers and staff and Kim was special to all of us through her years at camp. I was so happy to meet up with her at the shore and see what a beautiful, accomplished woman she became. I was so happy for her new look and her valuable guidance to others. Facebook enabled me to keep updated through her beautiful photography and posts. I will miss her smile and wonderful outlook on life. My heartfelt condolences to the family. My boyfriend and I wish to offer our deepest condolences at this very sad time. Kim was our neighbor and we spoke a few times and I was looking forward to getting to know her better. She was full of life and always had a smile on her face and a greeting for everyone. She will truly be missed here at Tuscany.

My deepest condolences to all of you close to her. Kim and I were "sisters" at the University of Hartford, and I very much appreciated reconnecting with her through Facebook in recent years as it bridged the ocean of physical distance between us. Such a warm and sharing person.

Dear Marlene & Matt,

I am terribly sorry for your loss. Unfortunately, I know first hand what if feels like to be in Matt's position with the loss of my sister over 10 years ago.

I have incredible memories of Kim and your whole family. I loved spending time with her in high school and our time together at Hartford. I wish that tragedy wouldn't be the impetus for this note. Please know that she meant a great deal to me and want to thank you for sharing Kim with the rest of us.

All my best,

David Rosen

Marlene, Matthew and the entire Weinberg & Lotman family
Words cannot capture the sadness we have at the shocking news of Kim's passing.

Since the day we met in the family room of your Villanova home, my memory will be of her beaming smile and infectious humor.

She cared so deeply for those less fortunate. A family trait that was so evidently passed on.

The lives she has touched, especially in her tenure at the Association for Developmental Disabilities, were forever changed by her tireless effort to make things better.

A bright light has gone out in our lives but its glow will last for a long time in the memories of the kindness she showed to those she touched.

Kim and all of you are in our prayers. May she rest in peace.

Best wishes,

Jim and Denise Kane & family
