Maria Luisa Romanelli

Romanelli, Maria Luisa, age 86, of Hollywood. In the tranquility of the land she deeply loved, in the peaceful memories of a life lived with enthusiasm and intensity, Maria Luisa Romanelli has serenely passed away on January 31, 2013. She is survived by her sons, Paolo, Marco, Pietro; her daughters-in-law, Francesca, Marinella, Elena; and her beloved grandchildren, Nicholas, Philip, Arthur, Oliver, William, Gregory, and Lorenzo; and her forever wonderful Charles, Maggie, and Sharon. Her simple and practical life teachings will be for us an everlasting inheritance of her legacy; a great love for her family, freedom, and for the land she always dreamed of with her husband, Dr. Renzo Romanelli; the land that has produced marvelous fruits who will maintain her memory forever. Maria Luisa Romanelli, was born in Pisa, Italy, June 21, 1926. After five years of Humanistic Studies of Italian Literature, Latin and Ancient Greek at the Pisa Liceo Classico Galileo Galilei, she started the Pharmaceutical Chemistry School at the University of Pisa, where she graduated in 1954. Isa never practiced as a Doctor in Pharmacology to completely dedicate herself to her family as a wonderful wife and mother. The same unparalleled dedication that convinced her to follow her husband's dream to move the entire family from Italy to the United States on August 22, 1977. In Florida Isa made numerous new wonderful friends and continued on her joy to be a delightful, warm, and compassionate woman until her very last days. A funeral Mass was held Saturday, February 2, 2013, 10 a.m. at Nativity Catholic Church followed by entombment at Hollywood Memorial Gardens West.
