Marion Werkstell

Marion Werkstell, who touched the hearts of so many, passed away this past Tuesday night at her ageless age of 92. Marion will soon reunite with her soulmate and beloved husband of 73 years, Seymour, and dearly departed son, Leslie. Survived and adored by her loving daughter Louise, son in law Bob, grandson Josh, his wife Andrea, grandson Justin, his wife Liz, great grand daughter Valerie, nephews Donald, Peter, nieces Paula, Barbara and Ellen and former daughter in law Judith. Marion was vibrant, loved life and the people in it. She was not only nurturing and devoted to her family, but an avid fundraiser and volunteer for so many causes. Magically, she was always there to be counted on in a time of need, and was a champion to those less fortunate. Marion was overwhelmingly generous and when you spent time with her you could never leave empty handed. Her natural artistic talents were revealed in her dancing, poetry, fashion sense, and flair for decorating. Marion's presence was grand and she always had a joke or story to tell. She always had a project going on, a garden to plant, a dinner to make, a show to plan, costumes to make, and she was currently drafting her life story. Her life was full, Marion did it all, with a smile on her face and love & kindness in her heart. She will be missed and remembered by all that knew her. Services will be held Thursday January 22, 1:45 pm Star of David, 7701 Bailey Road, N Lauderdale 33068. Shiva will be following services on Thursday at her daughter and son-in-law's home in Weston and on Friday noon-sunset.
