Marti was indeed a "Saint" and a huge supporter for Animals who she loved dearly. She went on to opening the Humane Society in Dania Beach on Griffin Road. I knew her and Wayne since the early 90s. I also knew their housekeeper ISABELLE who was from Lisbon Portagal. She had the most wonderful and sweetest personality. I shall miss her dearly. Rest in Peace Marti.

Wayne and family.....in this sorrowful time, I would like to extend my heartfelt condolence. Our Lord and Savior already have you in his arms to take care of each of you.....one special memory that my Henry and I have with you and Marti is when we had the privilege of making the trip down for Pam's wedding with Marti's dad. You and Marti were so kind to us and it was a trip that Henry talked about so much.....Marti managed to make the trip up to Georgia when I lost my dear Henry in July ....only 5 months ago.....she was a remarkable lady....she is pain free. There is a song ...the name is Death Was Arrested......it gives me great comfort and it will comfort you as well......love to all of you.

Mrs H was a beautiful, kind, loving spirit, working for her and Mr H was the best job I ever had! Her passion for saving as many animals as possible was inspiring! The love she and Mr H had for each other was one of those incredible movie loves, it was palpable, and their children/grandchildren were always her pride and joy. Your sweet soul will be missed on this earth, may you know peace in the next world. Thank you!

I had the pleasure of meeting Marti over 20 years ago when I first began at the Boys & Girls Clubs of Broward County as the receptionist. She came into the office and stopped at my desk and said Oh... You are new... Welcome.. I am Marti- what is your name?
That was simply Marti... She knew everyone's name from the janitor to the CEO and she made everyone feel so special.
My father was in the hospital after being hit by a falling palm tree. She heard of his accident and sent the most glorious arrangement to him. He felt like a celebrity. Again this was Marti.
She stopped and shook hands with every child who greeted guests at our events.
The love between Wayne and Marti was so incredible too. I loved the sparkling in their eyes when they spoke of each other and their family.
Marti will truly be remembered for her warmth, her compassion, her generous kind soul and her love for children and critters and much more.
Rest in Peace Marti and thank you for all you did for not only this community but for me too!
