Mary DiSibio Obituary

Mary DiSibio formerly of Grasmere, Staten Island and most recently of Pompano Beach, FL. passed away on September 15, 2021. She was 98 years old.

Born in Orange, New Jersey she lived in Brooklyn until 1964 when she moved to Staten Island. She was a former High School Spanish Teacher with the NYC Board of Education for 28 years and retired in 1978 from New Dorp High School where she taught for 14 years. She received her Bachelors Degree from Hunter College and did some graduate work at Columbia University. She was a member of the Staten Island Ballroom Dancers and loved to travel.

She is survived by her beloved daughter Diane who lives in South Florida. She was predeceased by her husband Alfred in 2009 with whom she was married to for 57 years. She was also predeceased by a son Alfred Gregory in 1979.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the charity of your choice.
