Michael McKissick Berkshire

October 17, 1945- February 19,2013 Michael McKissick Berkshire was a lifelong resident of Pompano Beach, Florida. He graduated from Pompano High School and the University of Tenn. He was the son of Elizabeth Bauder Berkshire and Otis Harrison Berkshire. Mr. Berkshire served in the US Marine Corp, Presidental Honor Guard, Washington, D.C. Later, he served as the Veteran's Service Officer, Broward County. Michael is survived by a daughter, Tiffany Berkshire Iraheta and her husband, Mario, and a son, Matthew McKissick Berkshire. He leaves two grandsons, Mario Andres and Enzo Johvanni Iraheta. He is survived by a sister, Patsy Berkshire Evans, Jacksonville, Fl and an aunt, Mary Snauffer of Pompano. Military burial will take place at the South Florida National Cementery, Friday, 10:45a.m.and a Life Celebration following at 12:30 Christ Community Church, 901 E McNab Road, Pompano Beach.
