Pamela Robb Obituary

"The Kindest Person I've Ever Known"

Pamela Whitman Robb, 71, of Ft Lauderdale, FL passed away Feb 17, 2022. Born in Stillwater, MN she spent her youth in Afton, enjoying the outdoors along the St Croix River.

Pam attended the Univ of MN and became the fourth generation in her family to become a teacher. Affectionately known as "Coach", Pam taught physical education, health science, yoga, and meditation for over 40 years.

Pam's life was especially enriched when she met her life partner of 25 years, Angie Anobile. They shared a love of family and friends, kayaking, camping, hiking, traveling, environmental causes, human rights issues, and animal advocacy.

Pam, a kind and gentle soul, was an avid animal lover. After retiring she spent years volunteering at a rescue center, rehabilitating and re-homing hundreds of abused and abandoned dogs. She passed away doing what she loved when a tragic accident occurred while volunteering.

Her legacy will live on through her family, countless friends, fellow volunteers, spiritual circle, and former students.

Pam is survived by her wife Angela Anobile-Robb; sister Deborah Robb Jankura and husband Edwin; niece Lindy Jankura; nephew Robb Jankura and wife Lisa Ding; grandnephews Otis and Theodore, aunt Shari Johnson, and extended beloved family and friends. She is predeceased by her parents David and Babette Robb, uncles Bruce Johnson, Edwin Robb, Walter Robb, and aunt Jeanne Schmitt.

Pam's Celebration of Life will be held on Apr 9th, 2022, 3pm, at the Anne Kolb Nature Center in Hollywood, FL. Pam's ashes will be interred this summer in Afton with a small graveside service for immediate family.

Ms Robb was my health teacher. I remember she gave me a 2nd at getting my CPR certification which required me to come a couple lunch periods to practice. I occasionally visit her during her lunch. Years after that. Ms Robb was more then a teacher she was a mentor. She will not be forgotten. So sorry for your loss.
