Richard Bongiovi Obituary

BONGIOVI Bongiovi, Richard J., 55, of West Palm Beach, FL passed away on Tuesday, December 24, 2002. He had been a Florida resident since 1951 moving to this area from West Hempstead, Long Island. Richie was the Official Honorary Fire Chief of the City of North Miami Fire Department for many years. One of Richie's greatest love is being a professional Drummer in many bands throughout the years. He is survived by his loving family, brother, Louis (Patricia) Bongiovi of Miami; sisters, Maria (Michael) Matthews of Boca Raton; Lori (Rick) Ekstrom of Port St. Lucie, FL; nieces & nephews, Marlisa, Louis, Marc, Tyler, Michele, Melissa and Jessi. Friends may call (TODAY) Friday December 27, 2002 between 2 - 4 & 6 - 8 PM with a Wake Service at 7:00 PM at Kraeer Funeral Home. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Saturday, December 28, 2002 at 10:00 AM at Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic Church in Boca Raton. Interment will follow the Mass at Queen of Heaven Cemetery in North Lauderdale, FL. Arrangements by: KRAEER MARGATE FUNERAL HOME 1 North State Road #7 Margate, FL 33063, (954) 972-7340.
