Roger Scott Wilcox

Roger Scott Wilcox , beloved husband, father, grandfather and friend went home to be with our Lord and Savior on November 9th, 2015, surrounded by his loving family. He was born in Chicago Illinois, February 6, 1941, to the late John Henry and Virginia (Lange) Wilcox. After graduation from Oak Park River Forest High School, he attended Parsons College and The University of Illinois. Founder and former owner of Tigress Trading Company, Inc., Roger dedicated most of his working life to the marine industry. He had a passion for developing high quality products and new ideas for the business he was so devoted to. His hard work and insights were greatly appreciated as well as his camaraderie and friendship throughout the marine industry. His attitude and generous spirit were obvious as friends and family gathered sharing laughter, stories and tears. Roger is survived by his loving wife Diane, daughter Debbie, sons, Scott (Karla) and Randy, his five grandchildren, Kourtney, Kory, Kristie, Kris and Maci, brother, John (Linda), sister Suzanne, brother-in-law Allan (Debbie) and numerous special nephews and nieces. A Celebration of Life Service will be held November 20th, 2015 at 1:00 PM at First Presbyterian Church,401 SE 15th Avenue, FT Lauderdale, FL 33301 followed immediately by a time for visitation in the fellowship hall.
