Selma Elterman

1923 - 2018

It is with deep sadness that we let you know about the recent passing of Selma Elterman. She lived in Boynton Beach for 18 years.She was 95, but since she believed that "…age was just a number to keep score," she chose to say 59.There was no one who loved life more than Selma. She called Florida "her paradise," and she lived every day to the fullest, whether it was playing Mah-Jongg, Canasta, or Pan, volunteering at the Bargain Box, getting together with family and friends, hanging out with her cat, Mr. Wilson, playing croquet on Saturday mornings, traveling the world, indulging in popular culture, or riding her three wheeled bike.She is survived by her brother, Sam, her sister, Evelyn, her 4 children: Judi, Vivienne, Joey and Eileen, her 7 grandchildren: Brandon, Alyssa, Danielle, James, Sarah, Leslie and Andie, and her 26 great grandchildren, including Olivia, Luke, Gracie, Alex, Max, Andrew, Ezra, Alanis, and Janis as well as 4 great-great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, Lennie, following a 63-year marriage.Donations in her memory can be made to the following, or a charity of your choice:Susan G.
