Rabbi Shoni, your book has been on my shelf for some time, waiting for me to discover and use it. Already in just a few days of readings I have found untold blessings. As I discover today that you have moved beyond this mortal life— May your memory and the example of your life continue to shine for new generations, as these writings are a blessing to us all.

Your magnificent energy wisdom love and light has been on my nightstand since 1996, when with my Father in Barnes and Nobles, I saw your book and it chose me. Marked with notes, underlines and softened pages, I have read it for many years. Its where I first understood cultivating emptiness and dispelling klippah. Tonight, 12/10/2020, for some reason, intuitively, I felt the need to read more about you and so I did. You have touched so many. Through the countless expressions of love, respect, gratitude and beauty, I have sensed your spirit and blessings. Thank you for your artistry in all forms. May your memory and gifts be a blessing for your family.

The exquisite, curly haired, daughter of an Orthodox rabbi, Shoni extracted the gold of tradition and transcended any narrowness to achieve her status as a great universal teacher. Her book, Miraculous Living, juxtaposed Eastern wisdom with kindred Jewish insight. Only a friend to Hashem could cut through to essence as Shoni did effortlessly. Such a wife, such a mother, such a loving sister and friend. To you who shared this Flame so kindly and with so many, thank you with my whole heart.

I met Shoni through a mutual friend in 1991. It was a transformative experience to say the least. In our travels together we walked beside The Pacific and Atlantic oceans, deep sands both physical and emotional We walked the path of Pele, traversing the planet's newest land mass Kilauea pouring into the sea, all the while putting out inner mental and temporal fire storms Without a word her smile blew away clouds, and Shoni's laughter is a memory I treasure still The arc of light she trailblazer in this lifetime was co-created by the Love she shared with Phil, love they multiplied in their children and the lives of all they still touch.

Shoshana always Shoni' Labowitz, the arc you made across my life is bright and shall forever remain visible just as it shall in the lives of everyone you touched

My deepest condolences to the entire Labowitz family, friends of Rabbi Shoni and members of Temple Adath Or. I can't begin to express how saddened I am to hear of Rabbi Shoni's transition. Her writings have inspired and comforted me as no others have. Although I never personally met her, she has been a huge part of my spiritual life. My love and prayers are with you all.
