Will miss him!! Came to Fenn Valley Vineyard and Winery where I work every May and prepared wonderful noon day dinner. Was a pleasure to have known this talented photographer, fellow lover of the Second Amendment, and it will seem empty in May. - Vernon Jenewein

I met Steve and Linda through our Foster Dog Abby, ( their furever dog) . Our love of German Shepherds , photography and traveling became a common bond! I never tire of seeing Steve's photos and always enjoyed hearing about his traveling experiences. We will miss you Steve!

Steve worked for me as a young soldier assigned to the Southern Command Network in the Panama Canal Zone 1968-1970. He was one of my best TV directors and cameramen. He attended all three of our SCN Las Vegas reunions in 2005, 2007 and 2011, snapping dozens of photographs at each at no cost. He was a true gentleman and patriot. My wife and I send our deepest sympathy to Linda and family.
Linda, there have been many remembrances of Steve posted online from our SCN family. I will copy them and mail them to you later this week.

So very sorry. He was a generous, gregarious man. Did a fabulous job on our daughter's wedding and became a friend. He will be missed.

My condolences to the Momot family. I met Stephen through his Aunt who worked at Burdine's Pompano Fashion Square. In 1970 I also worked at Burdine's. I remember the good times with Stephen going to his Aunt's home after work and having martinis. I remember Stephen being very passionate about photography and knew he would make it his life and career. God Bless May he rest in peace.

Steve was a great friend. I still remember meeting him in the 70's for Lunch in the Pompano Fashion Square when we both sold cameras in the mall. He always was there to help me, and was a great mentor. When I think of a great American I think of Steve. Steve's talent in Photography was creative and amazing. I will miss him greatly, I am so sad from his passing.~Sandee Jewell
