Warren Robert Curtis
Curtis , Warren Robert, 83, of Davie, FL, passed away peacefully, February 8, 2007. A BellSouth retiree of thirty years, he also served in the United States Army in the European Theater of Operations during World War II, having landed on Normandy Beach on D-Day. He served with the 87th Chemical Mortar Battalion from 1943-1945. He was also an avid sports fan throughout his life. Warren is survived by his devoted wife, Doris, of 48 years and was the beloved father of one son, Robert (Allison) of Sunrise and one daughter, Lynn, of Davie as well as one granddaughter, Lauren Curtis. He also leaves behind three sisters, Viola, Evelyn Kerekes and Hilda along with one brother, Daniel (Doreen), all of North Carolina. He will be remembered fondly by his nieces and nephews.
