John McCune Obituary

John R. McCune, 89, of Palm Beach Gardens, FL and formerly of Wauseon, OH passed away peacefully on January 10, 2023 in Jupiter Medical Center surrounded by his family.

John was born in Cincinnati, Ohio on January 14, 1933. He attended Amelia High School and graduated in 1951. John continued his education, going to the University of Cincinnati; he earned his Associate's degree.

John then went on to marry Bonnie Snyder on July 19, 1952; they were happily married for 68 years. He worked as the Vice President/ General Manager for Globe Weis for 35 years. John was also an avid golfer and Cincinnati Bengal fan. He proudly served in the United States Navy from 1952-1954.

John is survived by his daughter Cathy (Randy) Zuver of Jupiter, FL; granddaughters Angie (Chad) Patterson and their children Dylan, Brandon and Logan of Wauseon, OH; Ashley (Josh) Mohr and their children Ava, Emma, Jace and Ella of Delta, OH. He is predeceased by his wife Bonnie in May of 2020 and son Mike in June of 2020.
