Annie Lou (Price) Goodwin, went to her everlasting home to be with her Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, on September 14, 2021 in Abilene, Texas, at the age of 88. Visitation will be Friday, September 17, 2021 5:00 -7:00 PM at McCoy Funeral Home. Funeral Service will be Saturday, September 18, 2021 at 10:30 AM at McCoy Funeral Home Chapel of Memories. Burial will follow at the Garden of Memories Cemetery, all in Sweetwater, Texas. Lou was born April 26, 1933 to Edgar Neely and Annie Bell (Byrne) Price in Rotan, Texas. She graduated from Rotan High School. She married Troy Eugene Goodwin in Rotan on December 10, 1949. Shortly after their marriage Troy and Lou made their home in Sweetwater, Texas where they raised two sons. She was a member of Lamar Street Baptist Church in Sweetwater and loved to worship in the House of the Lord. She had an infectious passion for selling Avon and rose to the top in sales becoming a member of the Presidents Club in a short amount of time. Lou sold Avon for 45 years and became known to many as the "Avon Lady" of Sweetwater. She is preceded in death by her parents, husband, and 2 sisters; Mary Frances Fulcher and Lavada Jones. Left to cherish her memory are her sons, Jimmy Goodwin of Sweetwater, and Rodney Goodwin and wife Debi Kay of Merkel, Texas; her beloved grandchildren, Rodie Goodwin and wife Hannah, and Jesica (Goodwin) Smith and husband Jake; four dear great-granddaughters, Rylin and Remi Smith, Gatlin and Tessie Goodwin; one dear great-grandson, Ryder Smith, all of Merkel; and several nieces and nephews. Pallbearers will be Robin Ham, Micheal Cantu, Scooter Scott, Rodney Kinsey, Donald Kite, and Robert Stone. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Lamar Street Baptist Church, Ben Richey Boys Ranch, West Texas Rehab Center, or donor's choice. Online condolences may be expressed at
