My Aunt Ruth, the wife of my mothers youngest brother, was simply one of the most gracious and generous women I have known. My own mother so admired her taste and class and love of family - especially her devotion to my Uncle George. I visited with Aunt Ruth in her Abilene home two years ago. We arrived and spent some time going through photo albums then drove to a restaurant where she treated us to dinner. Breakfast always pigs in a blanket and coffee! You were an example to so many and will live on in their memories.

Ruth and George were such special friends. I got to know Ruth better when I'd pick her up for Delta Kappa Gamma meetings and through church. A wonderful Christian wife, mother and friend. Ruth will be missed. Such a good and faithful servant. My prayers are with her family.

Ruth and George and my husband, John Bruton, and I were dear, close friends for many years. John and George were elders at the Kingwood Church of Christ. We spent many happy hours with them. We loved them. I visited with my son Kirk snd his wife, Lynne Bruton, who live in Abilene, and Kirk and I had a wonderful visit with Ruth after she moved to Abilene. My Christmas card to her was returned, and I have been trying to reach someone. Kirk just told me she had passed away. I am so sad that didn't know. My deepest sympathy to all of you.Dalphene Bruton
