My thoughts and prayers are with you, Donna and family. Jerry was my good friend, and I believe a friend to everyone he met. I never heard him say a bad word about anyone. We had a lot of laughs together, and I have no doubt that I will see him again. <><

Proud to call him Coach as a young man and friend as an older man. I was one if many who had the privilege to be led and mentored by a great Coach and a better man. My thoughts go out to the family

Jerry was my great-grandparents, Pat and Juanita's son. I have always been very proud to call him Uncle Jerry. I have fond memories of the years I spent with him, Donna, and the girls at my great-grandparent's house in Heavener. I spoke with Jerry on May 28th and we exchanged I love you, and we must get together soon. I know my Daddy Pat and Grandmother Speed are thrilled to see Jerry walk through the pearly gates. I can just hear my Grandmother Speed saying Jerry Don did you practice your piano...as he is throwing the football in heaven.
In loving memory,
