Lowell Stanford Stone, 86, of Gore, OK passed away Thursday, June 17, 2021 in Gore, OK. Lowell was born October 26, 1934 in Hanna, OK to James Milton & Maude (Hightower) Stone Moore. He was preceded in death by his parents; wife, LaQueta; sister, Alma Lou Barber; brothers, Harold, Donald & Royce; step-daughter, JoAnna Williamson; grandson, Chris Huddleston.
Survivors include his daughter & son in law, Rhonda & Yancy Baggs of Joplin, MO; son & daughter in law, Stan & Melissa Stone of Poteau, OK; step-daughter & son in law, Debbie & Jim Tiffee, of Poteau; sisters, Mary Joyce Kimbrough of Vacaville, CA, Rozetta Roberts of Stockton, CA; grandchildren, Jacob & Abigail Baggs of Lake Winnebago, MO, Brandon Stone of Poteau, OK, Justin & Courtnie Stone of Clarksville, AR, Cami (Huddleston) & Duwayne Schiffner of Heavener, OK, Amber & David Young of Greenwood, AR, April & Joseph Hubbard of Ft. Smith, AR; 16 great grandchildren; many nieces and nephews; other relatives, loved ones and friends.
Services will be 10 am, Wednesday, June 23, 2021 at Evans Chapel of Memories, Poteau. Interment will follow at Heavener Memorial Park. Pallbearers will be nephews, Russell Barber, David Stone & Doug Stone; grandsons, Jacob Baggs, Brandon Stone & Justin Stone. Visitation will be Tuesday, June 22, 2021 from 6-8 pm.Evans & Miller - Poteau
