Marjorie Little, 89 of Fort Smith, passed away on Monday, June 21, 2021. She was born on November 10, 1931 to the late Odus and Ruth Cranfield Bennett. She was retired from Willow Brook Retirement Home as bookkeeper\receptionist. Marjorie was a present member of Victory Church & charter member of Calvary Assembly of God Church where she was an active participant. She sang in the church choir and ladies' trio; was a former church secretary and treasurer, former president of WMC, assisted with the Junior Sunday School Department plus many other activities she lovingly contributed to for her service to the Lord. She loved to travel especially with the Prime Timers and Keen Agers on their many trips. Marjorie loved to cook. She made the best chocolate and pumpkin pies anyone could ever imagine! In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by a sister, Anna Belle Kilpatrick; three brothers, Alphaeus Bennett and infants Clarence and Claybourne Bennett.
Funeral Service will be 1:00 P.M. Saturday at Victory Church, with burial to follow at Forest Park Cemetery. Arrangements are under the direction of Edwards Funeral Home.
She is survived by two daughters, Karen Gibbs and her husband Dean, of Greenwood and Kelly Little-Smalley and her husband Ed, of Van Buren; seven grandchildren, Rachel Zollicoffer, Barry Gibbs, Brent Gibbs, LaRissa Flanagan, Terra Butcher, Autumn Patton and Sam Patton, as well as thirteen great grandchildren.
Pallbearers will be Dean Gibbs, Ed Smalley, Barry Gibbs, Brent Gibbs, Stephen Flanagan, Keith Zollicoffer, Sam Patton and Grant Butcher.
Family will greet friends from 5:00 P.M. to 7:00 P.M. Thursday at the funeral home.
