Rachel was such a brave, courageous young woman who taught me to be courageous also. I was with her parents shortly after the heard the news of their baby daughters plight. As she grew, her joy and Faith were evidence of her strong relationship with the Lord. She touched many. God bless her family and keep them safe until their time comes to be reunited with her and rejoice in the Lord!

Weeping may tarry for the night,
but joy comes with the morning. ~ Psalm 30:5
I'm so sorry about Rachel. She always struck me as a kind, gentle soul, and a faithful servant of Christ. I wish I had taken the time to get to know her better. She will be missed.

Being the newcomer in the neighborhood, Rachel and her family only came to my house two times to sing Christmas Carols before she was unable to do so. I do remember her sweet presence and her obvious love for Jesus and to make Him known. I'm not surprised that He couldn't wait any longer to have her in heaven with Him. My heart is sad for your loss, but rejoicing that she is experiencing the unspeakable joy of being in his presence.
My thoughts and prayers are with you.

She has been a blessing to the entire family. My mother's heart knows your pain and my Christian heart rejoices that she is now healthy and whole. May God bless each of you throughout this experience, both now and in months and years to come. Love, Elaine Braswell

Rachel fought and never seemed to give up especially in her faith. Her life was a testimony to faith under trial.
