Robert Joe White, Jr.
Robert Joe White, Jr. 40, of Van Buren passed away Thursday, June 17, 2021 at a local hospital. He was a general laborer for Mac Steel in Fort Smith.
He is survived by his mother and step-father Vernetta Gattis and husband Danny Gattis of Van Buren; his father Robert Joe White, Sr. and step mother Marcia White of Fort Smith; two daughters Lexis Baleto of Fort Smith and Kacce White of Paris; one sister Lisa Kremers and husband Nick of Lavaca; one brother Kevin Putnam and wife Krista of Van Buren; two step sisters Tracy Mosby and Brandy Darr both of Fort Smith; one step brother Brian Gattis of Fort Smith; one niece Shelby Bennett of Lavaca and three nephews Elijah and Raymond Putman both of Van Buren, and Nicholas Kremers of Lavaca.
Arrangements and cremation are under the direction of Ocker Funeral Home in Van Buren. The family will have a burial at a later date at White Bluff Cemetery.

I know u do not know me but I was one of the lucky ones that had the honor to meet your son It did not take me long to get to like him that became a really good friend to me I will miss him very much and I want to tell all his family I am so sorry for your loss this earth lost a very special person but heaven gained a angel that will keep us close by until we meet him on the other side RIP Robert I will love and miss everyday until I see u again
