Virginia Elizabeth Cain
Surrounded by her family on June 17, 2021, Virginia Elizabeth Cain, 90, passed from this life. She was born June 27, 1930 in Fort Smith to Ben and Mary Etzkorn.
Virginia was truly an angel-the sweetest, kindest, most gentle person whom never had a bad word to say about anyone. She loved her family unconditionally and also loved her animals that brought her many years of happiness. Repeatedly every year she looked forward to watching Christmas movies on the Hallmark channel.
Virginia was a devout Catholic, who was a member of the St. Boniface Catholic Church.
Virginia will forever be deeply missed by her family and all who knew her. She truly loved life and was ever so proud to have lived to be 90 years old.
Virginia is preceded by her husband Raymond Cain. She is also preceded by 8 brothers and sisters; Al, Leo, Rudy, Mary Ann, Pauline, Dorothy, Margie, and Hilda. She is survived by her daughters, Caroline Johnston and her husband Dan and Marian Cain; two sons Steve Cain and his wife Teressa and Michael Cain; eight grandchildren, Emily and Chris Johnston, Christi Seiter, Carl Abner and his wife Racha, Mark and Michael Cain, Megan Nelson and Alecia Fiori; fourteen great grandchildren, as well as numerous nieces, nephews and extended family and friends. Honorary pallbearers will be Dan Johnston, Christopher Johnston, Carl Abner, Mike Cain, Antonio Haynes, and Benjamin Berard.
Her Mass will be 10am Thursday, June 24, 2021 at St. Boniface Catholic Church, with burial following at Holy Cross Cemetery. Viewing will be June 23 from 8am to 5pm. Arrangements are under the direction of Edwards Funeral Home.

I will always remember my Mother's almost daily phone visits with Aunt Virginia her beloved sister and all it meant to both. Also how special my last visit in person with my Aunt Virginia was to me. All the so kind and special words she shared with me.
