MARION, Va.
Donald L. "Don" Chisler, age 75, passed away on Sunday, February 20, 2022, at Fairmont Crossing, Amherst, Va.
The family will receive friends Sunday, February 27, 2022, from 1 until 3 p.m. at First United Methodist Church, 115 South Church Street, Marion, VA 24354. Celebration of Life services will begin at 3 p.m. with the Reverend Dr. James Bennington and the Reverend Thomas Mercer Sr. officiating. Burial will be private.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the First United Methodist Church, or to the FUMC Food Pantry, 115 South Church St., Marion, VA 24354.

Shirley: So sorry to learn of Donnie's passing. We grew up together in Bartley subdivision and spent many hours playing sports in his backyard and across the street at his house. Many of Sunday afternoons playing games that left us exhausted. No video games back then. Always felt bad I was never able to stay in touch with him after we graduated from Garfield. I was always happy maybe jealous on how well he excelled in cross country. So sorry for your loss. I'm sure hes in a better place now. RIP Donnie. Joe Buckles
