August 19, 1931 - April 15, 2023
Nancy Sue Sult Cregger, age 91, of Wytheville, received her heavenly wings on Saturday, April 15, 2023. She was born on August 19, 1931, to the late Walter Ray and Mabel Lewellyn Sult. Nancy was preceded in death by her husband, Clarence Friel Cregger Sr.; one son, Friel Cregger Jr.; four brothers and two sisters.
Left to cherish her memory are her daughters, Sherrl Walters (Smitty) Wytheville, Teresa Edwards (Kelvin) Moneta, Va., Sharon Cregger, Terry Peak, Wytheville, and Lynn Cregger (daughters Jessie and Michelle) of Wytheville; one son, Kenneth Cregger (Rhonda) Wytheville, Va.; several grandchildren, James Wise, Jr. (Mary Leigh), Kelvin Edwards Jr., Jason Walters (Jeannie), Jana Walters, Jett, Hunter Kathryn and Eva Kendele Cregger. several great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews; and a special neighbor and friend, Kathleen "Katherine" Seagle.
Funeral services will be held 11 a.m. Wednesday, April 19, 2023, at Grubb Funeral Home Chapel, conducted by the Reverend Doug Silvers and the Reverend Joe Mack Taylor. Interment will follow in Mt. Pleasant Community Cemetery. The family will receive friends on Wednesday from 10 a.m. until service time.
