Norma Catron Grubb

November 4, 1936 - June 27, 2025

Norma Isabell Catron Grubb of Falls Church, Va., passed away peacefully, surrounded by family on June 27, 2025 after a brief illness. She was born in Wythe County, Va., on November 4, 1936 to the late Lawrence Early and Isabel Catron. She was preceded in death by her beloved husband of more than 55 years, Charles Douglas Grubb; her sisters, Ruby Blankenship, and Betty Spraker, and brother Ronnie Catron. She is survived by her sisters Patsy Irvin, Fleta Irvin, and Vicki Lokos (Nathan), and brother Curtis "C.D." Catron (Deloria). as well as sisters-in law Irene Jones and Rebecca Grubb, brother-in-law Donald Blankenship, and many nieces, nephews, and cousins. She is survived by her son, Perry Grubb (Catherine), and her six grandchildren Dan, Hallie, Jessica, Ryan, Charles and Sarah. A memorial service will be held Saturday, July 12 at 1:00 p.m. at Berea Christian Church with Reverend Gary Houseman officiating. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Berea Christian Church Cemetery fund, 996 Berea Rd., Wytheville, Va. 24382.
