I found out that Dr Froelich had passed just now, and I am very, very sad. Both he and Mrs Froelich were very kind to me when I worked for them a long time ago, and I remember them fondly.
My deepest condolences to Eileen and the family on their great loss.

I knew Fritz Froehlich as a graduate student a
at Syracuse University. After I returned to Syracuse University, whenever Fritz visited Syracuse we would talk about physics or family. He even invited me to visit him in Florida when I visited family. However, unfortunately that never occurred. I send my sincere condolences to his family.
