Nicholas R. Andrianos

1933 - 2018

Born March 30, 1933 son of Robert and Maria Andrianos. Pioneer businessmen of East Syracuse, NY owning and operating the Boston Candy Kitchen, later re-named Hercules Candy Co. which is still operated by third generation. Nicholas graduated from East Syracuse High School in 1950 and joined the Marine Corps and was stationed two years in Japan before being honorably discharges in 1955. He started working for the D,L &WRR retiring from ConRail after 40 years of service as a Conductor.
Nicholas lived with his wife and family over 43 years in E. Syracuse before retiring in Jordan, NY.
Survived by his wife, Barbara, 4 sons, Christopher (Marianne), James (Janet), Jason (Jodi), and Daniel (Lisa) and 3 stepdaughters, Susan Unz (Chris), Nancy Hvizdos (Mark) and Carol Mauro (Bob Hollis), 13 grandchildren, 9 great-grandchildren and brother, Daniel (Ann).
Nicholas was a member of the Assembly of God Church in Zephyrhills, FL, attended the Word of Life A/G in Baldwinsville, and was an active member of the Gideons International Organization. He was also a Past Commander and member of the American Legion Post 359, E. Syracuse and served as a Village Trustee and was past president of the Railroad Evangelistic Association. Nicholas enjoyed his family, golfing, his home in Jordan and in Florida. He loved his 13 grandchildren and 9 great-grandchildren. He and Barbara celebrated over 50 years of marriage. A Celebration Service will be 11 am Friday in the Elbridge Community Church. Spring burial will be in Maple Grove Cemetery. Calling hours will be 4-7pm Thursday at the Bush Funeral Home, 120 E. Main St. (Rt.5), Elbridge.
