Robert Allen Miller passed away on September 14, 2025, from Alzheimer 's disease.

Robert was born on August 3, 1944, to Helen and Edwin Miller in Glendale, California. He attended Los Angeles Trade-Tech College, where he received his Certificate of Completion of Apprenticeship in 1968.

In 1980, Robert started his own company, Cosmo Electric Inc., and soon became affectionately known as "Cosmo Bob." He took on many school board projects but found his true passion in working with designers and homeowners. In 1982, Cosmo Electric was honored with the Electrical Contractor of the Year Award from the Public Works Builders Council of Southern California.

In 1990, Robert met his future wife, Colette, while working in Santa Barbara. They married in 1992. During this time, he discovered a love for horses and proudly rode in the Fiesta Parade alongside Colette several times.

In 2003, Robert and Colette welcomed their son, Tyler, into the world. Three years later, the family moved to Buellton, where they made their home. In 2008, Robert closed Cosmo Electric and retired.

Robert loved traveling with his family, especially to West Virginia to spend time with his daughter, Tammie, and his son, Rob. He was a devoted animal lover and shared a special bond with his dog, Freddie.

Robert is survived by his loving wife, Colette; their son, Tyler; his son, Rob, and wife, Robin; his daughter, Tammie; three grandchildren, Dustin, Daniel, and Corey; six great-grandchildren, Hunter, Scotlyn, Ella, Avery, Kendall, and Rylee; and his sisters, Barbara and her husband, Donovan, and Debbi. He was preceded in death by his daughter, Sandy, his parents, and his brother, Tom.
