Carolyn Thompson Bivens, passed away on Wednesday, June 14, 2017. There will be a Wake at Strong & Jones Funeral Chapel from 7:00 pm - 8:00 pm Friday, June 23, 2017. Funeral Services will be Saturday, June 24, 2017 at 11:00 am at New Zion P. B. Church (3845 Miccosukee Road.)

I will say my final see you later to Carolyn T. Bivens my best friend/Godma. Mercy is a gift. It is undeserved. Godma did not find it hard to show mercy. She granted it to all the same way God granted it to her. Godma was forgiving,gracious, compassionate, slow to anger and always rich in faithful love. Carolyn T. Bivens was a person who looked to Jesus as her role model. In every area of Godma life her service was selfless, loving, without complaining and without seeking recognition. CB what I called her at times truly will be missed but never forgotten.

Ms. Carolyn Bivens has left a ton of great memories to all of us. How in the world could we forget such a loving soul? Our heart is shattered to see her gone. But that is just temporary. Sooner or later, we will see her in heaven. That's the sweetest hope we can bear right now. May her soul rest in peace. My prayers are with you always. And as you overcome this grief, I know you will be stronger. Be strong and believe that there's still a brighter tomorrow for you just as envisioned by your Godmother. Was a shock to hear of Carolyn's passing. My prayers are with the family. Turn all of your hurt over to the Lord for He is able to ease the pain. It will take time because it is a process; it does not happen overnight. Hold on to God's unchanging hand.

To my sister, Lillie Muse (goddaughter), all family members, friends, neighbors, associates, and church family of Ms. Carolyn T. Bivens:
I know you are hurting and missing Ms. Bivens dearly; but I just to encourage your hearts. Please know God never make mistakes. He knows what's best for all of us, even though "our best" does not always feel good. Remember, He is always with you . . . He will never leave nor forsake you. You can lean and depend on Him.
Continue to trust and believe in God.
Remember, in all you do, keep God first and continue to pray.
