Clara Ann Hunter Clara Ann Hunter, 78, of Tallahassee, passed away Wednesday, April 2, 2008, at Tallahassee Memorial Hospital. The service will be at 11 a.m. EDT Friday, April 4, 2008, at Culley's MeadowWood Funeral Home, Timberlane Road Chapel (850-893-4177). Visitation will be held from 6 to 8 p.m. EDT today at the funeral home. Mrs. Hunter moved to this area 56 years ago from Livingstong, Tenn. She was a wonderful wife and mother. Survivors include five sons, Donnie Hunter (and wife Wanda) of Tallahassee, Steve Hunter (and wife Melisa) of Crawfordville, Jim Hunter of Tallahassee, Mike Hunter (and wife Clara) of Crawfordville and Sam Hunter (and wife Michelle) of Tallahassee; two daughters, Diane Hartsfield (and husband Ronnie) and Lisa Brandon of Tallahassee; five brothers, Walter D. Smith, Vernon L. Smith, Franklin D. Smith, Bruce Smith and Talmagh Gene Smith, all of Overton County, Tenn.; two sisters, Ruby Lee Maynard and Virginia Harlow, also of Overton County, Tenn.; as well as 14 grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, Donald L. Hunter, in 2006, and her parents, Walter and Mary Smith of Allons, Tenn.
