David Ansley Obituary
David Harrison Ansley, 57, an administrator for the Department of Revenue, died Saturday July 16, 2016 after a short illness. He is survived by his wife of 24 years, Donna, and his son, Giles, and daughter, Sharon, and mother, Kay.
David was an avid hunter, faithful husband, devoted father and son, loyal friend and brother who will be missed by all.
He was preceded in death by his father, Gus, and brother, Marc.
David graduated from the University of Florida and was a member of the KA Fraternity.
Other survivors include nephews Harrison Ansley, Matthew Schmidt and sisters-in-law, Leigh Ansley and Debra Simmons (Roger) and mother- in-law, Billie Blair.
A memorial service will be held at 3:00 PM Tuesday, July 19 at Faith Presbyterian Church. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to Big Bend Hospice, 1723 Mahan Center Blvd., Tallahassee, FL. 32308. Just received the news. In all the sections in my encyclopedia of life the one on Dave is truly one of the very best. Thanks my "Anz the Man" for all the many many memories and the all great times we experience together. You and those will never be forgotten.
