David Rayboun Obituary

David Wayne Rayboun

Tallahassee - David Wayne Rayboun, passed away on December 6, 2020 after fighting a long illness. He was born June 20, 1961

and lived most of his life in Tallahassee. David is loved and will be truly missed by his parents, Joe and Becky Rayboun,

his son, Harley Rayboun, his sisters, Kathy Smith and her husband Dan, Susie Brown, Jenny Hill and her husband David.

David also has many nephews, nieces, uncles, aunts, cousins and friends, that will miss him dearly.

David spent most of his working life as a Carpenter. He could build just about anything, and his beautiful work is all over Leon County and beyond. For a while, he owned and operated the "Cobbler Shoe Repair" shop. He took pride in all the different types of work he did, whether building a simple fence, to restoring a pair of shoes.

David loved to go fishing, even though he would not keep what he caught, instead he would release back to the water. He had an immense love for all animals. If God gives tasks in Heaven, David's will be to look after them.

There will be a private, family Memorial to honor David.
