Dorothy Sadler Obituary
Dorothy Rae Sadler, 73 passed away October 16, 2015. Dot was born October 14, 1942, in Gulf Co., the daughter of G.K. Dormany and Besie Victoria Wittemore.
Family and friends were Dot's love and joy. She loved cruising with her family, NASCAR Racing, reading, and playing cards. She was very active and loved being outdoors and traveling. Dot retired from Leon County School Board and Publix Supermarkets. She taught twirling at Pam Nobles in Apalachicola, FL.
She is survived by two sons; Tony Sadler and James Sadler (Rita) and a daughter, Rachel Sadler. She was blessed with seven grandchildren and two great-grandchildren, a sister; Joann Weeks . She is preceded in death by her husband, Jimmy Sadler and a don, Gerald Sadler.
A graveside service will be held at Sumatra Cemetery on Thursday, October 22, at 11:00 AM.
Arrangements are in the care of Independent Funeral Home (850-875-1529).
