Edith Crisp Obituary
Edith Crisp, 80, passed away Friday, December 23, 2011 in Tallahassee. A funeral service will be held 1:00 pm on Wednesday, December 28, 2011 at Christian Heritage Church, 2820 Sharer Rd., Tallahassee, FL, 32312, followed by a burial at Roseland Cemetery in Monticello. Family will receive friends from 6 until 8 pm, Tuesday, December 27, 2011, at Beggs Funeral Home, 3322 Apalachee Parkway, Tallahassee, FL, 32311, (850) 942-2929.
Edith was a native of Monticello, spending 51 years in Tallahassee. She was a member of Christian Heritage Church.
Edith is survived by her daughter, Michele Lynn; granddaughter, Brandy Childers Willis and husband Grant Willis; and grandson, Brad Randall Childers.
She is preceded in death by her parents Lamar Lanier Pope and Pearlie Mae Harrington Pope and sister, Betty Jean Pope Demott.

The Lord needed an angel who could save someone down here who is in need and loosing faith...An Angel who would be a pillar of strength and a true inspiration to percevere. He couldn't have chosen anyone more fitting of this role than Edith. I will miss her dearly, and feel privileged to have known her.

Your mother was so important to me, as you have always been. She taught me so much! It is because of her that I have strength in the Lord that I may not have found otherwise. She leaves behind a great legacy. Many lives were touched by her in so many ways. She was precious on earth, and a great treasure in her heavenly home. Can't wait until I get to heaven to see her again.
Love you, and keeping you in prayer. May the Holy Spirit comfort you in wonderful and surprising ways.

I just found out that your mom went home to be with the Lord. I am so sorry that I didn't find out sooner so I could attend her funeral. Your mom was critical in my spiritual growth and I will always remember her fondly!May God bless you and your family.
