Forrest Oliver Fezler

- - The Angels hath called to Heaven on this glorious day of December 21, 2018,

Forrest, AKA Fuzzy or Fuzz as his friends called him. Born with the looks and a Hollywood smile like "Redford" and the tenacity of a legendary Maverick: he will forever have the

Legend of wearing shorts in the 1983 U.S. Open at Oakmont.

With a keen eye and passion for design, a perfectionist in every aspect from Golf Course design to his own "Bellingrath "pied-a-terre , where he passed away peacefully after eight courageous months of battling GBM-4 (malignant brain tumor).

Leaving behind his soulmate and loving wife Deborah DeSterre Fezler,

Brooke, Jordan, Jennifer (children); Colin, Steuart, Alex (step -children), and six grandchildren.

A" Celebration of Life" for Forrest Oliver Fezler will be announced at a later date.

I am so sorry. Forrest was my brother in law when I was married to his brother Phillip. I always admired him, and he will be greatly missed. My sincere condolences to his entire family. I know your pain as I lost my brother, Tony Manzoni to Cancer in October 2018. God bless.
