At times it's very hard, yet then I reflect of all the wonderful memories I have of my precious friend- MOM. She was so precious and refined and I loved being with her and sharing things. She is missed, but I will see her again. LOVE YA MOM Your blue eyed daughter.

It was my pleasure to know Sis. Melix. She was a joy to know and to talk to. I thought that I was one person who could really talk about almost any subject, so it was my greatest joy to converse with Sis. Melix because she, like me, loved to laugh and to talk. She was the only person, I believe, who could outtalk me!! I say all this with sincere love and appreciation for this wonderful person and dear Saint of God! How I did enjoy talking to her and listening to her. We both had a lot in common and that was our children. We talked about them constantly. We talked about them with love and concern and so proud that they served the Lord. She was a person with an infectious smile and laugh. She smiled and she laughed easily. I loved that. She was a precious great-grandmother to my two gifts from God,the two children of my grandson, Michael Gray,Tanner and Brooklyn, my Great-grandchildren. She loved them and was giving and kind to them. They in turn loved her. For this I shall always remember Sis. Melix. She was the Mother of some wonderful children, one of them who is Sis.Brenda Melix Gray. I miss you Sis. Melix and I shall always remember you and our cherished talks we had many times. God took you at a time when you had suffered long enough and with his great compassion he called you to HIM. Sis. Willine Rednour-Love

It does not seem like it has been a year since Mom left us. I have many wonderful memories of my life with my Mother. I miss her very much but I do know where she is and she suffers no more. There is a song that says, "They are not really lost, when you know where they are". I thank the Lord for the peace that He gives us.
